Motion for a resolution "27 measures to strengthen internal security"
The CDU/CSU parliamentary group has submitted two motions for resolutions on the Federal Chancellor's government statement on current domestic policy issues. The applications contain several immediate measures in immigration policy. The second motion for a resolution contains 27 measures intended to strengthen internal security and curb illegal migration. Among other things, it lists expanded powers for the security authorities, increased penalties for various offenses and an exit arrest for people who do not leave the country voluntarily. The second motion for a resolution from the CDU/CSU faction was rejected with 508 votes against. 190 MPs voted in favor, there were three abstentions.
