Mods fix your bots, I want to talk about the AI and supposed Index fund bubble but AI mod shuts me down.

Mods fix your bots, I tried to post something I worked hard on and wrote myself but the moderation bot thinks its AI. I just spent hours of research and a day of thinking and writing only for the annoying Moderation bot to think AI did it... fix your ignorant moderation bot please super annoying. I need to keep typing because apparently if the post is below 250 characters the mod bots will also nuke the post. I cant even report a problem with the auto moderator without the auto moderator nuking

How can we invest without giving up democratic control over our money?

I don’t want this post to sound too political, but I’ve been thinking a lot about the implications of investing in broad global ETFs. For most of my adult life, I’ve invested in all-world ETFs like VWCE, mostly through US-owned asset managers such as Vanguard, Invesco, and others. For a long time, I saw this as a simple and rational way to invest: low-cost, diversified, passive, and accessible. It's also what... I heard was the "wisest" way to do it. But over the last few months, especially afte

Eurowings credit card premium

Hello, I'm thinking about whether I should get the Eurowings credit card. The reasons for this are the few advantages with Eurowings (we fly with them relatively often) and the fact that you can collect Miles points straight away. Does anyone have this and can report on their experience and does anyone know whether you can also add the card to Amazon and Paypal so that you can collect miles with it. I'm also open to other recommendations. The card can also cost some money, but please not €800 per year 😂

Without you I wouldn't be Dr.SherbetAggravating68

I was the first from my working-class family to graduate, studied and am now doing my doctorate. You're probably wondering what this has to do with r/Finance. I actually owe a significant portion of my PhD to r/Finance. As a psychologist, I have studied the posts in this community intensively and examined where the line lies between pathological stinginess and adaptive thrift. In short: Carbonara appears at least once in my dissertation. At the same time you have

Switch ETFs for retirement planning?

Hi :) I'm currently considering whether it makes sense to "restructure" my retirement provision. I currently have around 70% in MSCI World and 30% in MSCI EM in my retirement planning. Somehow it feels like it would be better to put the entire savings rate into the FTSE All World and not split it up. I'm in my early 30s and still have enough time until retirement so that a change could still make sense. However, it also feels wrong to dissolve the current setup,

Japan's bond quake grips the world

"The bond market in Japan is undergoing a long-term normalization that can cause disruption worldwide. Higher domestic yields reduce the incentive of Japanese investors to park capital in US Treasuries. This may dampen demand for US bonds, but is likely to be gradual rather than shock-like. The bottom in JGB prices has not yet been found. The central bank faces the challenge of not raising interest rates too quickly in order not to collapse the stock market

Investment for a baby

For parents out there: our baby (8mo) keeps getting small financial gifts that we'd like to keep strictly for him as well as start contributing smth for his long term investment account. I am looking if there is e.g. baby specific investment option with tax deductions/tax free or so. What are the best options out there, what are the paths you've went? Thanks for the discussion. btw country: Germany/Czechia, if that matters. submitted by /u/Silly-Walk-8531 [link] [comments]

How do you (Personally) cut through the noise?

Moderately successful daytrader here, all based on technicals. I want to start putting some of my money into longer-term investments but I've never paid much attention to fundamentals All I see online and on tv is stock tips and opinions and who knows whats quality and whats not. I want to put my money somewhere safe with moderate growth expectations and not worry too much about it. I'm not really interested in bogglehead methods although eventually I'm sure I'll put some in voo and chill Right

Colombia’s Oil Industry Faces a Defining Election in 2026

Colombia’s rapidly approaching 2026 presidential election is generating considerable concern about the economy, notably the country’s oil industry. Gustavo Petro, a former guerrilla who won the 2022 election to become Colombia’s first left-wing president, introduced policies aimed at reducing the country’s reliance on fossil fuels. While this spurred the development of renewable energy, it is responsible for sparking an energy crisis in Colombia. There is hope that a new president will revive Co
