In Europe, employment contracts signed with SES — the most common e-signature type — have almost no legal weight in a serious dispute. If a termination gets contested, the signature is the first thing a labor lawyer checks. AES is better but still not fully equivalent to handwritten under EU law. QES is. Almost no HR onboarding workflow uses QES by default, because nobody explained the difference when the tool was set up. Worth checking before it becomes a problem. submitted by /u/InvestmentBike
