Provide additional military and humanitarian support to Ukraine

The Bundestag is voting on a motion from the Alliance 90/The Greens faction entitled “End the Russian war against Ukraine – now further strengthen Ukraine militarily and humanitarianally”. The application calls on the federal government, among other things, to expand military support for Ukraine, strengthen air defense and ammunition supplies, continue humanitarian aid and maintain political and economic pressure on Russia through sanctions and international cooperation. The application also advocates the further reconstruction of Ukraine and its rapprochement with the European Union. The Green Party's motion was rejected with 510 votes against, 79 votes in favor and one abstention from Corinna Rüffer.
