Essential content

The AfD parliamentary group has submitted a bill to amend the Thuringian building regulations for a roll-call vote in the state parliament. In it, the parliamentary group calls for regulations at the state level to ensure the complete dismantling of wind turbines, since, according to the AfD parliamentary group, the systems represent a profound intervention in the ecosystem. The bill was rejected with 47 votes against. 31 MPs voted in favor, there were no abstentions. A motion for a resolution from the CDU, BSW and SPD parliamentary groups was also submitted for a roll-call vote. This calls on the state government to issue a dismantling decree bindingly regulating the implementation of the dismantling obligation for wind turbines after the end of their use, including the complete removal of the foundations, pile foundations and ancillary systems as well as the dismantling of access roads and sealed areas. The motion for a resolution was adopted with 70 votes in favour. There was one no vote and eleven abstentions.
