The parliamentary groups of the CDU, the BSW and the SPD have submitted a motion for a roll-call vote, which provides for various changes to the rules of procedure of the Thuringian state parliament. For example, MPs should be able to ask questions directly to members of the state government on a weekly basis. In addition, parliamentary documents are to be made available primarily digitally in the future, majority requirements are to be simplified and a special committee for EU affairs is to be set up. Overall, the application is intended to ensure more efficient processes in the state parliament and better cooperation with the government. The motion was approved with 50 votes in favour. 29 MPs voted against and there were no abstentions.
