The EU Parliament has voted on a motion for a resolution on continued support for Ukraine three years after the start of the Russian war of aggression. After US President Donald Trump announced that he would suspend military aid to the country, the resolution should now specify in more detail how the EU can continue to support Ukraine. MEPs also welcome the proposal for a 30-day ceasefire agreement and call for Ukraine's accession talks with the EU to be accelerated. Attention: The voting results shown on the right only reflect the voting behavior of the 96 German MEPs and not that of all 720 MEPs. Overall, the motion for a resolution was adopted with 442 votes in favour, 98 against and 126 abstentions. Of the German MEPs, 67 voted for and 21 against. There were two abstentions.
