Ensure water supply across the board

In the AfD parliamentary group's motion for a resolution, which refers to the draft law on the Thuringian Budget Law 2025, the parliamentary group calls for better financial resources for water supply and wastewater disposal. The AfD parliamentary group states in its application that the funds provided in the budget would not be sufficient to achieve the legally required connection level of wastewater disposal of 90% by 2030. In rural areas in particular, additional investments are necessary due to stricter requirements, which is why the state government is called upon to provide greater support to the authorities, to ensure financing in future budgets and to better coordinate infrastructure measures. The motion for a resolution was rejected by 52 votes against and 30 in favor. There were no abstentions.
