Petition against the establishment of a state initial reception center (vote on recommended resolution)
The state parliament voted specifically on the Petitions Committee's recommendation for a resolution on a petition. The petition criticizes the planned introduction of a career in the higher humanities and social sciences service. In addition to the existing middle, senior and higher service careers at universities, libraries, archives and museums, there will now be another career path that applies to civil servants of the state, municipalities and municipal associations as well as other public corporations, institutions and foundations subject to the supervision of the state. The Petitions Committee recommended rejecting the petition. This was approved with 94 yes votes to 14 no votes. There were 14 abstentions from the FDP/DVP parliamentary group. Attention: A vote was taken specifically on the adoption of the committee's recommendation for a resolution. The MPs therefore voted for the establishment of a civil service career in the higher humanities and social sciences service.
