In recognition of the achievements and service of all former and active soldiers, National Veterans Day will be celebrated for the second time in Germany on Sunday, June 21, 2026. To mark this occasion, a large citizens' festival will take place around the Reichstag building from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The patron of National Veterans Day is the President of the German Bundestag, Julia Klöckner.
