EU sets course for Agora-EU funding program – State Minister Weimer: “Strengthening Europe’s sovereignty with self-confident cultural and media policy”

The Council of the European Union for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture approved the draft of the new culture and media funding program Agora-EU from 2028 to 2034 in Brussels today. Minister of State Wolfram Weimer for Germany agreed. On his initiative, the draft text also includes the fight against anti-Semitism as a program mandate.
