Federal Cabinet decides on investment commitment for media services – State Minister Weimer: “Filmbooster is now starting with 250 million euros”

Today the federal government approved State Minister Wolfram Weimer's draft law for an investment obligation for streaming services and broadcasters. Accordingly, in the future they will have to invest at least 8 percent of their annual sales in Germany as a film location.
