You have health insurance - is the planned pension reform for mini-jobs an unexpected advantage?

If mini-jobbers have to pay contributions to health and nursing care insurance in the future as a result of the reform, does that also mean that you have health insurance through the mini-job? Everything else would be somehow contradictory, right? Otherwise you would be paying into a system from which you would not receive any insurance cover. That would actually be an advantage in my situation. For example, I currently have to pay 275 euros to the voluntary statutory health insurance as a student over 30. If that were the case, that now as a social worker. ve

As Singapore bets on becoming Asia’s leading wellness destination, tourism experts say the city state must prove that its attractions can draw international visitors in a region replete with spas, retreats and hot springs. A S$1 billion (US$770 million) waterfront complex scheduled to open in 2030 is expected to be a major driver of the country’s wellness sector. FTSE All World + Gerd Kommer ETF makes sense?

Hello everyone, I'm currently only saving for the FTSE All World ETF and I'm very happy with it. But I'm thinking about starting a second savings plan on the Gerd Kommer ETF in the future. I wouldn't sell anything from the All-World, but rather the savings rate in the future, for example. B. split into 75% FTSE / 25% Gerd Kommer ETF. (I currently have almost 70k in the FTSE and a savings rate of 300-500 euros per month, which changes a little depending on my income.) The commercial ETF brings with it a higher weighting

Capital pillar pension insurance. Is it worth it for you?

Hello, since only the wildest comments without any expertise - purely based on feelings like a good angry citizen - are floating around here, I wanted to approach the matter from the factual side. I was wondering what return the bond fund would have to produce to beat a simple ETF savings. Assumptions: Gross salary: 50,000 euros Pension contribution for employees: 500 euros / year Payment into capital column: 1000 euros / year Net loss for employees: 500 euros / year * Limit load = 336 euros

EU and China need a grand bargain to avoid a trade war

As European leaders convened at the European Council meeting in Brussels this month, the spectre of a full-blown trade war with China cast a long shadow over the proceedings. Amid ongoing anti-subsidy probes into Chinese green technology and the looming threat of retaliatory tariffs, the economic bedrock of the China-EU relationship appears increasingly fragile. Yet, beneath the hawkish political rhetoric, recent high-level meetings between European officials and their Chinese counterparts...

Singaporean woman jailed for slapping, punching helper over job performance

Upset with the way that her domestic worker had performed tasks such as hanging the laundry or cleaning bottles, a 67-year-old woman slapped, punched and scratched her, drawing blood. The victim, who earned S$470 (about US$360) a month, told staff members from Singapore’s Centre for Domestic Employees (CDE) during a routine call about the abuse, and a police report was made. Hazel Phang Fong Yen, a 67-year-old Singaporean woman, was sentenced to four months’ jail on Wednesday. She was also...
