How do you vacation?

In addition to the emergency fund, I also have a daily allowance pot for vacation money. I really enjoyed package tours during my last vacation. A week in Türkiye all inclusive for €360. It was very good on site for the price, it made my financial heart shine. Are package tours generally recommended in terms of price/performance ratio or how do you plan your vacation?
