Division in the event of a divorce?

Hello, me and my wife are renovating our parents' house in the future. The in-laws still live in the granny flat (without right of residence in the UK). We also have two small kids. Together (wife & I) we take out a loan of around €400k. Now we're thinking about how we would divide it up in the event of a possible divorce. She would (in the worst case scenario) be reluctant to have to give up her parents' house, etc. I also have no need for the property itself, but I don't want to do so either
