What is your goal when investing in stocks/ETFs/others?

I'm basically having an early mid-life crisis. I earn €3000 net and have around 1/3 of this money freely available. The 2/3 includes everything you can plan for (inspection, TÜV, birthday and Christmas presents for your girlfriend, subscriptions, living, etc.) The 1/3 are really “over”. Of the 1000-1100€ I save 200€ a month for vacations, 200€ I give myself for leisure activities (although these usually amount to 100€), 500€ go into an ETF and the rest
