Life insurance

Hello fellow Middleclassers, I (30M) am currently considering whether it is still worthwhile for me to take out life insurance so that my family is somewhat protected should God's plan for me become dark. There are several options for 500k over 35 years on Check24. Do you have experience with this? Is there an option that pays back a sum if you survive the deadline or even with interest?
