Is the Chinese stock market actually investable?

Hello everyone, I keep going back and forth on China as an investment. The market is obviously massive, but the political and regulatory risk makes me hesitate. It feels like the government can have a much bigger influence there than in most other stock markets. So I’m wondering how people here think about it in general. Do you see China as a normal part of emerging markets, or as something completely different? Just looking for opinions and discussion, not personal advice. submitted by /u/Key-C
