No, Europe isn’t “Falling Behind” America

Does anyone understand these effects of different methods of calculating GDP growth and inflation rate? This was completely new to me and I found it extremely interesting. Especially since the argument often comes up in the discussion that the official inflation rate is not particularly meaningful because "improvements" in technical products are taken into account.
