Why should I choose Stocks over ETFs

I have seen way to many videos supporting ETFs over Stocks. I can understand the benefits that dn ETF can have over a Stock. Also in my country UCITS ETFs are tax free and I really don't feel like paying taxes for gains in the stock market that they can evaporate the next day. This question is mostly for the experienced investors who has knowledge of many different instruments.
