“Sword of Heaven”: 84 meters: The tallest known tree in East Asia is in Taiwan

Using laser scans, volunteers and laborious expeditions, researchers in Taiwan searched for giant trees. According to them, the “Sword of Heaven” is the tallest known tree in East Asia.
