How did you end up for anyone who started investing in their 30's

I am about to be 32 in December and I just landed my first high paying job. I essentially lived paycheck to paycheck in my 20's but now with my new income, i have enough to invest about 200-300 a month. All I see on reddit are 25 year olds with 500k portfolio.
