Child custody accounts are dangerous

I read here more and more often how all parents set up child savings accounts. Of course everyone only wants the best for their children, including me. Yes, tax advantage, I understand. But as someone who has brought three children through puberty. I would never in my life give children access to a large amount of money at 18. Anyone who comes here with "it's just a matter of upbringing" has either never had a 17 year old daughter or is incredibly naive. I prefer to have the money in my depot September
