How or what will our next generation invest in?

It started with the piggy bank, then the savings book, savings bank advisor, the building savings contract, insurance broker, the fund-linked pension insurance and now it is the ETF on its own. What or how will the next generation invest? Will our (grand)children at some point roll their eyes because we stick to ETFs and not .....?
