Would you stay with your parents until you're 30+ in order to specifically save equity - be it for the first 100k, a condominium or even a house? I don't mean simply accumulating your first small savings, but actually building up enough capital that it makes a noticeable difference in your life in the long term. If you share the housing costs with your parents, everyone ultimately benefits. Over a few years this should definitely reach the first 100k in the depot
