Is my investment plan too boring?

I've a significant amount of money collecting dust in a bank account (a few hundred thousand euros) so I'm planning to invest them mid-long term (10-20 years). For context I'm in my 40s, I'm an expat living in France, don't own property but due to how volatile the industry I work in is I can't really own property as I might move around to different countries when the chance arises. My idea is to split the investment as follows: 60% on VWCE (Vanguard FTSE All-World) 20% on iShares Euro Gov Bond 1
