Reality check after first salary. Life is damn expensive

I'm now in my first "real" full-time job after graduating and I'm realizing how damn expensive life is. Every month I have €4,400 gross, and three times a year there are additional payments of two to three thousand each. I left that out, it's about the regular monthly income. I'm 25 and have a Mint Master's degree. I work in development for a large medium-sized company in southern Germany. Of the 4,400 gross, almost 2,800 net remain. Leaving the church is in the room.
