How much equity is invested in buying a house?
—·1dSocial
How much equity would you bring in when buying a house given the current interest rates (~3.8%)? For example: you pay ~450k for a house and need another around 50k for some measures. So in total about 500k. Equity is 100k in overnight money and 150k in ETFs. How would you finance the whole thing? High equity (~200k) or rather lower equity (~70-100k) and the rest in ETFs? Thanks for your input! Edit: I am aware that of course the possible repayment amount, etc. is the same
