Is it worth buying discounted employee shares?

Hello everyone, you could probably call me financially uneducated, so I'm asking for advice here. Until three years ago, I put my "excess" money into a world ETF. Then bought an old half-timbered house, completely emptied the depot and have been renovating this same house alone for three years and have just put all my money into it every month. Now I'm almost done with it and, like every year, my employer offers employee shares. I've had this for the last few years
