Unexpected effect of tax reform

To be honest, I have become very dissatisfied with politics in the last few months and have not read any details of all the resolutions. As an upwardly mobile person who comes from the lower socioeconomic class, I am usually at a clear disadvantage with current politics anyway. I was even more surprised at the result that, as a top earner, I would actually pay minimally less income tax next year.
