EU-Western Balkans summit: Merz blames the EU for the stalled accession of the Western Balkan states

The international community has not accepted a new member for 13 years. The Chancellor sees “failures also on the part of the European Union” and emphasized on the sidelines of the summit in Montenegro that the Western Balkans will belong to the EU in the future.
