Multifactor as protection against scams?

Hey guys, short thesis/question: Does a multifactor ETF perhaps also make sense because it protects you somewhat from nonsense changes in normal market capitalized indices? Take SpaceX, for example: Index rules were changed or accelerated at short notice, so that a huge hype IPO can be pushed into passive products much more quickly. And if SpaceX does that, OpenAI, Anthropic & Co. will probably follow suit at some point. Then the normal ETF saver buys such valuations automatically
