The Hong Kong government has appointed a former deputy commissioner of the city’s police force to lead the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD). Albert Yuen Yuk-kin, a former deputy commissioner of operations with the Hong Kong police, will lead the FEHD after retiring from his 37-year police career, the government said on Monday.
