Sold my home what to do with equity?

Hey i will be upfront I'm a country boy and new to being financially responsible lol but I'm trying to learn. I'm 37yrs old, I just sold my home, closed my general construction business and most of my stuff and moved to Massachusetts renting a place with my gf.
