Exceptionally early heatwave shatters records and brings deaths in Europe

The UK smashed a century-old temperature record for the second time in 24 hours on Tuesday as a spring heatwave continued to scorch parts of western Europe, triggering government warnings about risks to life. Several drownings were reported in Britain and France as people tried to cool down. A temperature of 35.1 degrees was recorded at London’s Kew Gardens, Britain’s Met Office weather service said, breaking the 34.8 degree record set a day earlier at Kew. The provisional readings smashed the..

Anxiety buying in this market

I'm having lots of trouble buying and commiting to a stock in this market. Everything seems to be ripping (except the stocks I hold) and companies I had in my watchlist have skyrocketed far from my entry price. But even those I consider buying, and do, I have trouble holding: I buy, see it drop 1% immediately due to the very high volatility and set a limit sell at $0.01 over my entry price. I feel that everytime a stock I buy doesn't remain higher than my buying price, it's because it's going to

QQQ and FXAIX one or the other

Is there any benefit of having QQQ as well as FXAIX? If the top 10 holdings are very similar, does it make sense under any circumstances to hold on to both? A few years ago, when a portfolio was put together several shares of QQQ were purchased. Later fxaix was purchased. Mind you, these were bought on someone else's behalf buy an advisor. Anyone who has been involved with Launch Vector tell me more about your experience with their process?

I am seeing many things on them being a scam, they have been marketing to me and some buddies. A friend of mine had a meeting with them and there is relatively fishy stuff. Paying off things on your personal credit cards and 7 people having access to a business bank account? Are screenshots true proof of their P&L? submitted by /u/Main_Influence8274 [link] [comments]

Unfortunately, the attacks may reduce real labor incomes by as much as US$3 trillion globally by 2027, according to the International Labour Organization. The direct cost to the U.S. taxpayer for military operations is US$29 billion (so far) according to the Pentagon, and about US$35 billion in extra gas and diesel cos
