How are family and wealth compatible?

I'm in my mid-20s and single and wondering how to build wealth with a family in the long term. It starts with finding someone who is on the same wavelength as you financially. Just thinking about people spending up to €100,000 on a wedding sends shivers down my spine. I don't even want to start with children. How do you finance the whole thing and build up assets at the same time? From a financial perspective, doesn't it make the most sense to just do it alone?

What Seoul must do to achieve peaceful coexistence with North Korea

South Korea has made peaceful coexistence the central objective of its North Korea policy. As outlined in a recent white paper, Seoul has not formally abandoned reunification but has chosen to prioritise the more immediate and achievable objective of establishing a stable framework for coexistence. Hello, My mother-in-law lives in Greece and has a steady income from several rental properties. She is looking for ways to invest some of her surplus cash, and since I have been investing in ETFs for many years, we're considering whether that might also be a good option for her. I currently live in the Netherlands and invest in the accumulating VWCE ETF through Degiro. One of the reasons I use Degiro is that it simplifies tax reporting, which makes things much easier for me. For those of you who

Which books to read to learn investing and personal finance? (Germany if it is relevant)

Basically the title. I started saving some money, it's not much but honest work. I am done with my emergency fund, considering German Job-loss insurance (1 year) and my expenses 10k seems good enough. I can squish my expenses to 1800-1900 a month if i go tight and that is roughly my Insurance payout. I will start investing and doing more long to mid term stuff. But idkn where to begin. A lot of the advice here seems VWCE and forget. submitted by /u/wannabeacademicbigpp [link] [comments]

Tesla’s Shanghai Gigafactory recorded its strongest monthly deliveries of the year in May as a broader recovery in China’s electric vehicle market gathered pace, although the US carmaker is likely to face intensifying competition from domestic rivals launching a wave of new models. The factory in Shanghai’s Lingang free-trade zone delivered 85,982 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles last month, up 39.4 per cent from a year earlier and 8.2 per cent from April, according to Tesla China. Disciplinary authorities in central China are investigating a county-level Communist Party chief following a coal mine gas blast that killed 82 people and left two missing.
