Is the pullback in the room with us?

Finding it hard to understand how markets are still propped up so high… Every investing subreddit i come across has members flaunting their 100-1000% gains on AI-related stocks. We see a pullback of 5% and everyone is piling in to the dip (at least on reddit). At what point do we admit everything is overvalued? They dont even know how to monetize AI! Watchlist Update | What Am I Still Focusing On After the AI Pullback?

The biggest change in the market this week wasn't the disappearance of the AI logic, but rather a reassessment of valuations The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index fell nearly 8% in a single day, with popular AI stocks like MU, SNDK, and ARM experiencing significant pullbacks. Many are discussing whether the rally is over, but based on current information, it seems more like a cooling of expectations than a deterioration in fundamentals. China’s telecoms giants bet on ‘air-space-ground-sea’ networks for future AI needs

China’s telecoms giants are pushing for “air-space-ground-sea” networks amid Beijing’s push to expand artificial intelligence infrastructure, as SpaceX’s market debut has ignited the industry’s focus beyond the Earth. At the opening of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Shanghai on Wednesday, telecommunications executives framed the next phase of infrastructure as one that needs to encompass both the skies and oceans to meet skyrocketing demand for AI computing. Wang Tao, rotating chairman of...

The AI bubble is literally the same thing as the dotcom bubble

Many people are probably thinking something like this: if ai is a useful technology then the current stock market valuations must be normal, not a bubble. But it is a bubble. And I'm leaning toward the idea that after Anthropic's IPO, it will start to deflate There’s no denying that AI is a revolutionary technology, and nobody is going to abandon it. It's just like the internet: after the dotcom crash, people didn't stop using it, the same thing will happen with AI it will keep developing, but t

Banks are rushing to recruit AI leadership – but how will the tech be implemented?

Both regulators and clients could motivate banks to adopt artificial intelligence for greater efficiency gains in the coming years, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) executive has predicted, adding the trend could intensify the global race to embrace the cutting-edge technology. Over the past few months, multinational banks have approached AWS about how to grow their business in innovative ways, said Shaown Nandi, vice-president of technology at the US cloud computing giant, in an interview with the.

America’s ‘biggest risk’ on AI is China getting ahead, Bessent says

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on Tuesday said China surpassing the United States on artificial intelligence was the “biggest risk” of the technology – outweighing concerns over safety or job losses. “The biggest risk to AI is China getting ahead of us,” Bessent said at the Economic Club of New York, adding that China’s willingness to discuss AI underscored America’s technological lead. “I am one of the point people on our AI policy. The Trillion-Dollar AI Shockwave Nobody Is Ready For

The biggest investment opportunity of the AI era has very little to do with software or chips. The market has already priced both. The real story is power: who owns it, where it sits and how cheaply it can be delivered to AI workloads at scale. A small data center company that almost no one on Wall Street has heard of just answered all three of those questions in front of the entire industry. In May 2026, Bitzero Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:AIBZ) signed a binding letter for a 15-year lease with OneQod

US Anthropic ban is best advert for Chinese AI

Bankers working for JPMorgan Chase and Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong must have been miffed when they were shut off from using artificial intelligence (AI) models from Anthropic, a pioneering American firm in the field. Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase pulled the plug in April and last week respectively, based on a strict interpretation of Anthropic’s terms of use, which reflect Washington’s stringent restrictions on China’s access to frontier American AI models. The banks’ decisions are seen as a..

The AI Boom Is Set to Fast-Track China's Coming Nuclear Energy Dominance

The United States is still the largest producer of nuclear energy in the world – but probably not for long. Decades of political ambivalence have left the domestic nuclear sector in a state of neglect. Far more reactors are aging out than being constructed, and the country’s few attempts at building new nuclear fission reactors have been controversial, expensive, and slow to get off the ground. After Georgia’s Plant Vogtle finally came online years late and billions over budget in 2024, zero new

US stocks slide, as Wall Street gets AI wake-up call

Wall Street got a reality check as a bruising sell-off in several technology giants fuelled concern the artificial intelligence frenzy that has powered the equity bull market might be overblown. The tech rout engulfed global stocks as worries about frothy valuations ignited a fresh bout of volatility after a nearly three-month surge in riskier assets. The S&P fell 1.4 per cent. The benchmark index is coming off 11 weekly gains out of the last 12, led largely by technology stocks. The Dow Jones..

When is the AI Bubble gonna burst? (Give your opinion)

I'm really worried now about this situation in the financial markets. Most global risk assets have already corrected, Central Banks are getting Hawkish due to inflation caused by the Closing of the Strait of Hormuz, Trump keeps pumping and dumping the Market with his phony tweets, gold had a big run in recent months and Swiss Banks are receiving record deposits of people looking to protect their money. Everybody knows AI stocks forward P/Es are inflated and unrealistic. Is this the beggining of

Don’t restrict AI in sports, ensure fair access, Hong Kong lawmaker urges

Hong Kong’s lawmaker for the sports sector has urged authorities to focus on ensuring fair access to AI rather than attempting to restrict its use, arguing that the technology has increasingly reshaped athlete development and competitions.
