Is bunq legit for daily banking and investing?

I'm confused about this neo bank. One one hand, they're properly regulated by the ECB and more or less popular here in Europe. But even on surface, there are some negative reviews and reported issues. At the end of the day, is it legit or not? I want to use it for my daily banking, along with trying something lighter for investing in stocks and ETFs. If you have any banking xp with them, please share. I'll highly appreciate this. submitted by /u/grow_gred [link] [comments]

How Chinese drink chains are testing the limits of soft power

Makeda George steps out of a Mixue store in downtown Brooklyn, New York, clutching a bubble tea as she weaves through a crowd of teenagers. The local resident says she had been eager to try the brand after noticing a surge of new outlets opening in recent months. “I decided to try the bubble tea. It was good,” she said, adding that she did not know it was a Chinese drink chain but figured it was Asian given the branding. “Everywhere you go, every nook, every cranny, you just see them popping...

S&P Rejects Fast Entry for SpaceX, Delaying $14B in Passive Inflows

Earlier today, in our forensic analysis of the SpaceX IPO, we said that according to BNP estimates, the company's inclusion into the S&P 500 some 6 months after the offering would unlock $13.4 billion worth of inflows. It turns out that that is not going to happen 6 months after the IPO. In fact, the earliest it may happen is 12 months after Friday's break for trading... and realistically well after that. That's because after the close today, S&P Dow Jones Indices said it would keep its existing

Are retail IPO allocations mostly the deals institutions don’t want?

I’ve been thinking about IPO offerings and how shares are allocated. Is it reasonable to assume that the most attractive IPOs are largely bought up by institutional investors before the general public gets much access? In other words, when retail investors are offered IPO shares, is that sometimes a warning sign that institutional demand wasn’t strong enough to absorb the offering? Or is that too simplistic, and are there other reasons retail investors might receive allocations even in a desirab

UK’s Keir Starmer says Russia could attack Nato within 4 years

Russia could attack a Nato country within four years according to western intelligence assessments, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer warned on Friday. He made the comments as he pledged his government would publish a long-delayed defence investment plan before next month’s Nato summit. “It is our intelligence assessment and the assessment of other countries in Nato that there could be an attack by Russia on Nato as soon as 2030,” Starmer said. “So you can see the urgency and the priority that...

Oil Markets Stop Believing Trump’s Peace Narrative

Fresh strikes on Kuwait and Oman undermine hopes of a U.S.-Iran de-escalation, keeping oil markets on edge and traders skeptical of diplomatic progress. Friday, June 05, 2026 This week’s strikes on Kuwait and the Friday morning attack on Oman have dented hopes for a de-escalation between US and Iran following the much-publicized Israel-Lebanon ceasefire. Whilst Oman’s main port is reportedly up and running again, capping ICE Brent around the $95 per barrel mark, most global crude benchmarks will
