Advansia Toll Free

Hey everyone, I have a small doubt regarding the Advansia credit card! Suppose, I got a bill of 300 euros on lets say 3th of July, and I have to pay it off by 20th of July!, but when I reach the 20th, the 300 euros has become 400 euros! My question is, if i paid off the 300 before 20th,do i need to pay interest on this remaining 100 euros after the 20th? Or will it be billed during the next cycle? Thanks and regards submitted by /u/AffectionateRain953 [link] [comments]

China achieves microwatt milestone with self-reliant carbon-14 nuclear battery

Chinese researchers have developed a new-generation nuclear battery that far surpasses its predecessor and marks a major step in long-life power sources, according to the team. Northwest Normal University, in collaboration with Chinese tech firm Gansu Zhulong Technology, unveiled a carbon‑14 nuclear battery and silicon carbide (SiC) transducer on Monday, saying the equipment was developed without any foreign technology or parts. The Qianjiyuan Tianshu battery is a major upgrade from the team’s..

Why is this mutual fund severely lagging the S&P 500 index?

I have a handful of T.Rowe Price mutual funds in an IRA and I’m trying to figure out why the All-Cap Opportunities fund (PRWAX) is underperforming (+0.28% YTD) the S&P 500 index (+10% YTD) so far this year. Like many mutual funds, the top 10 holdings are almost identical to the S&P 500. The same can be said about their Blue Chip Growth fund (TRBCX) at +0.34% YTD. It’s hard to believe that the remaining holdings could be substantially different enough to cause a disparity of 10% with the S&P 500.

Fourteen of the 27 top scorers in this year’s International Baccalaureate (IB) programme from Hong Kong’s largest international school group plan to study medicine, with some students attributing their success to discipline, miso soup and using a Nokia phone with limited internet access. The English Schools Foundation’s top achievers shared their plans and study tips on Tuesday after learning their IB results the previous day. The number of ESF perfect scorers was nearly double last year’s tally

How can I give my mother €2000 per month with as few taxes as possible?

First of all: I have an appointment with a tax advisor in 2 weeks, but I wanted to do some research beforehand and ask you, dear financial experts. Context: I earn quite well (currently around €15K net per month) and it also looks like my job is pretty secure. I have fixed costs of around €4K per month and I invest the rest in ETFs or treat myself to something for my hobbies. Now I would like to give my mother (58) €2K every month so that she no longer has to work. She is currently

French court opens door to Le Pen presidential run, with ankle tag

A French appeal court on Tuesday upheld Marine Le Pen’s conviction for misusing EU funds but shortened her ban on running for public office, in theory preserving a path for the far-right leader to run in the 2027 presidential election. However, ‌the court also sentenced Le Pen to a three-year jail term: two suspended and one with an electronic ankle tag. This would make a presidential campaign politically and logistically difficult, and casts doubt on whether she will in fact continue to seek...

Europe could prosper as China’s trade ally rather than adversary

The European Commission has been clearly signalling its intention to wage a trade war against China. Brussels’ intent to counter the so-called China shock 2.0 – the wave of subsidised Chinese exports such as electric vehicles (EVs), solar panels and batteries – is no longer merely a verbal threat but appears to be an imminent decision. Comparing current trade tensions between the European Union and China with the trade conflict between Europe and Japan in the 1970s and 1980s reveals striking...

Hong Kong consults on sex law reform over cult coercion, campus and online abuse

Cults luring victims overseas for sex in a bid to “change their fate”, as well as suggestive games hosted at orientation camps in Hong Kong could amount to sexual offences, authorities have warned, as they launched a public consultation on the city’s sexual law reforms. Secretary for Security Chris Tang Ping-keung on Tuesday clarified that sexual offences involving misleading claims would fall within the city’s legal remit if the deception took place in Hong Kong, even if the incident occurred..
