Goldman Sachs Warns Oil Inventory Rebuild Won’t Prevent 2027 Supply Glut

The coming global race to rebuild depleted oil inventories will not be enough to offset a massive glut that’s coming to the market next year, as traffic through the Strait of Hormuz appears to be headed toward normalization, according to Goldman Sachs. Stockpiles of crude and refined petroleum products in many parts of the world have been depleted to multi-decade lows after governments raced to release strategic stockpiles in March after the Middle East crisis trapped millions of barrels of dail

Private pension insurance still makes sense?

Hi, I have been running a private pension insurance since the beginning of 2024 and pay in €50 a month. Currently this is: Balance: €1619 and the surrender value is €1254. Composed of sp500 terrasissi and I think an msci world. I don't have access right now because the system is being rebuilt... My question now is, should I stop it or let it continue? Mahathir and PAS demand Malay unity in Malaysia’s Johor poll

Malaysia’s Johor election has opened a new front in the country’s long-running racial politics, after former prime minister Mahathir Mohamad and Islamist party PAS urged voters to put “Malay-Muslim political power” ahead of party loyalty in one of the country’s most closely watched state polls. Just days after she last saw a teenager, known to her friends as Cake, on Pattaya Beach, Ning began to realise the unfolding horrors that shocked Thailand. The body of the 17-year-old was found on Saturday, placed inside a black suitcase and dumped in scrubland next to a railway track. “I would see her often. I didn’t realise she was still just a child,’’ Ning, 22, told This Week in Asia, giving an alias. “Her murder breaks my heart.’’ Australian national Simon Peter Carman, 45, has been charged

The thing with the neobrokers...

Neobrokers’ advertising is misleading. As soon as you move the money into a money market fund in the background, the assets in the clearing account are no longer legally considered an insured bank deposit, but rather as an investment/special fund. Like the normal ETF, this is separate from the balance sheets of the custodian bank, so it protects against the bankruptcy of this very bank. Since the money in the fund itself is loaned to major banks, companies, etc. in order to achieve the return/interest
