Asset location importance

I have a 4 fund portfolio: FSKAX FTIHX AVUV AVDV How important is to keep these assets stored in specific accounts (Roth, 401k, Brokerage) for tax efficiency purposes? I have been replicating my asset allocation evenly among each account type. I do so because, while I believe there is reason to expect some SCV outperformance, I do not want to have my Roth exclusively carry a laggard fund given it is the most important of the accounts. I also do not want to have a huge tax drag due to tax ineffic

Are we being screwed over by the reforms?

When it comes to tax reform, it is said that the reform package will increase the basic tax allowance and thus relieve the burden on people. From the current €12,348 to around €12,900 in 2028. But am I missing something, or does the framing here just feel like absolute bullshit?? Due to cold progression and the Federal Constitutional Court, according to which the subsistence minimum must remain tax-free, the basic amount must therefore be increased by inflation anyway. That would just mean

Could China’s containerised aircraft launcher reshape rules of modern warfare?

Fresh footage has offered the first look at China’s truck-mounted electromagnetic catapult launching a drone, with its developer unveiling details of this large family of containerised weapon systems. The footage shows three eight-wheeled flat-top trucks driving on to what appears to be an airfield runway. Once aligned and connected via mechanical hinges, they form a continuous platform, along which a fixed-wing propeller drone accelerates and takes off. The Beijing Institute of Technology’s...

Russia's Fuel Crisis Spreads to Central Asia as Drone Strikes Escalate

The ripple effect from a severe gas shortage in Russia caused by Ukrainian drone strikes is being felt in Central Asia, where seasonal demand is rising. Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are heavily dependent on Russia for energy supplies, so it is no surprise that the ongoing destruction of Russian energy infrastructure threatens to hit two Central Asian states the hardest. Gas stations across Kyrgyzstan are already reporting shortages of high-octane auto fuel, the Moscow Times has reported. State regu
