In addition, new restrictions have been introduced at border checkpoints, limiting trucks and cars to one crossing per day. In recent weeks, as gasoline shortages ha

Russian Fuel Disruptions Push Central Asia Into an Energy Crisis

Ukraine's sustained attacks on Russia's oil refineries immediately plunged Central Asian countries into energy chaos, highlighting years of short-term policy decisions that have left the region without a coordinated energy strategy and sufficient diversification to withstand major disruptions. Just this week, Ukrainian drones knocked the Omsk refinery -- one of Russia’s largest processing facilities, with an annual capacity of nearly 22 million tons of crude oil -- offline, forcing Central Asian

IEA Chief Urges EU to Drop Arctic Drilling Ban

The European Union should reverse the current moratorium on drilling in the Arctic, where Norway is pushing to drill if allowed, Fatih Birol, the executive director of the International Energy Agency (IEA), has said. The EU’s moratorium on Arctic drilling was enacted in 2021 due to the bloc’s climate commitments and environmental concerns. The ban does not allow drilling in Norway’s northern parts of the Barents Sea, which is estimated to contain most of the remaining Norwegian oil and gas resou

UAE Oil Output Hits All-Time High, Doubling Pre-Crisis Levels

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) produced 4.1 million barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil in June, its highest output ever, according to estimates by the International Energy Agency. Can anyone point me to a good source on Oil?

Obviously since then there has been SOME transit of the straight but the best data Ive been able to find is that the area was able to get close to about 75% of pre war oil export levels (including pipelines). Obviously a large portion of that transit has been interrupted again, however we havent seen a spike in oil levels commensurate to what we had previousl
