Six Key Issues to Watch at NATO’s Ankara Summit

NATO leaders are meeting in the Turkish capital, Ankara, for the alliance’s annual summit on July 7-8 in the shadow of the Iran war and American complaints that not all European allies are pulling their weight when it comes to defense spending. The expectation is that US President Donald Trump will have harsh comments for several of his European counterparts as they meet for a dinner on the first day and then an expected three-hour session of the North Atlantic Council on the second and final da

Germany Plans $1.7 Billion Strategic Natural Gas Reserve

Germany is moving to create a state-owned strategic emergency reserve of natural gas to boost its energy security, the Economy Ministry of Europe’s biggest economy said on Tuesday. Earlier today, Reuters reported that the strategic government-owned reserve would require up to $1.7 billion (1.5 billion euros) to build the reserve and buy the gas to inject into the storage in 2027 and 2028. Advansia Toll Free

Hey everyone, I have a small doubt regarding the Advansia credit card! Suppose, I got a bill of 300 euros on lets say 3th of July, and I have to pay it off by 20th of July!, but when I reach the 20th, the 300 euros has become 400 euros! My question is, if i paid off the 300 before 20th,do i need to pay interest on this remaining 100 euros after the 20th? Or will it be billed during the next cycle? Thanks and regards submitted by /u/AffectionateRain953 [link] [comments]

Europe could prosper as China’s trade ally rather than adversary

The European Commission has been clearly signalling its intention to wage a trade war against China. Brussels’ intent to counter the so-called China shock 2.0 – the wave of subsidised Chinese exports such as electric vehicles (EVs), solar panels and batteries – is no longer merely a verbal threat but appears to be an imminent decision. Comparing current trade tensions between the European Union and China with the trade conflict between Europe and Japan in the 1970s and 1980s reveals striking...

Single 41F with a well‑paying job - what's next?

41F here, single, no kids, living in Eastern Europe. I have a net worth of almost €1M: two apartments, and most of the rest invested in ETFs/ equities. Economic stability is important to me - I grew up poor and later had to change professions to earn good money. I speak English and German fluently, have experience living abroad, and work in a technical IT role. I currently have a well‑paying job, but it requires 12‑hour days and is toxic to the point where many people - myself included - end up
