How to (Profitably) Trade Trumps Tweets

Unfortunately this can be a viable strategy lol. President Donald Trump's investment accounts made nearly 4,000 individual stock trades during the first quarter of the year. This averaged out to about 65 trades per business day. There is no reason you cant capitalize on this yourself. Heres a guide on what I do myself to trade Trumps Tweets and everything you should know. You need to be fast to catch the tweet, and determine which securities will be impacted. (There are tools to help with this w

Putin and Zelensky hold phone calls with Trump as US president marks his 80th birthday

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky each held phone calls with US President Donald Trump on Sunday, as Trump marked his 80th birthday and the war in Ukraine remained a flashpoint ahead of this week’s G7 summit. Putin’s call with Trump lasted just under an hour, according to Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, who briefed reporters. On Ukraine, Ushakov said Trump emphasised the need to end hostilities and stated his readiness to influence European...

Roast/review my portfolio. AI, Semis, Infra + ETFs. 40M, Europe. Rotate into Nasdaq?

Portfolio allocations as of June: Amazon 11.9% Broadcom 7.6% ServiceNow 1.2% Marvell 0.6% Gold (IGLD.DE) € 5.1% Google 9.2% Japan (IJPA) € 7.1% Korea (FLXK) € 7.0% Microsoft 7.7% NVIDIA 7.7% S&P500 (SXR8) € 23.7% Silver (XAD2) € 2.0% TSM 7.5% Micron 1.6% I'm now taking a longer view, like 5-10 years. For that, I'm looking at rotating 80% into Nasdaq, S&P, or even a total market ETF (Nasdaq is my current favorite). I do consider SOXX/SMH as well (but limited to 20%). I wonder about consolidating

Portfolio review - mid term AI exposure

I'm trying to build a short mid-term ( 3-5 years) ETF portfolio around what I see as the core enablers of the AI revolution, rather than investing only in AI software companies. The amount to be invested would be around 20k euros in lump sum with t212. My thesis is that AI growth will require massive investments in: Data centers (physical infrastructure) Semiconductors (compute power) Energy generation and distribution (the biggest bottleneck) Digital infrastructure and connectivity. Potentially

Swiss voters reject right-wing plan to cap population at 10 million

The Swiss appeared to have voted down a divisive anti-immigration proposal to cap the country’s population, early projections showed on Sunday. Shortly after polls closed at noon, initial projections from the GfS.bern institute indicated around 55 per cent opposition to the initiative, which had sparked warnings of “chaos” and devastating impacts for the Swiss economy and European Union relations. “We are very relieved and happy. This is an important result for our country and for our relations.

Do you invest monthly or every 2-6 months? [IBKR]

Hi, I’m looking to add 200-300 monthly to IBKR (EU-based). Currently thinking 70% SPYL (SP500 Acc) and 30% VWCE (All-World Acc). Do people invest monthly or what’s the best frequency? Considering experience in average returns vs commission per trade. I’m asking as IBKR commission per trade: “European: Tiered is usually 0.05% of the trade value with a minimum of €1.25, while Fixed is 0.10% with a minimum of €3.00”. Edit: Trade Republic seems to have a higher cash protection and 0€ trade commissio

VWCE vs. Invesco vs. SPDR: An objective analysis of hidden risks and fees (Is the "King" losing its crown?)

Hi everyone, I wanted to bring up a topic that often gets completely glossed over because of the popular "VWCE and Chill" cliché. I did a deep dive into the three main All-World ETFs available in Europe and looked at their actual drawbacks. We often focus strictly on the TER, but there are other critical factors worth worrying about, such as regulatory changes, replication methods, and underlying structural risks. Here are the hard facts regarding these three funds: 1. Vanguard FTSE All-World (V
