How do you save when the future is uncertain?

Hello everyone, I basically wanted to know how you set your savings goals if you don't know exactly where you should go. About me: just 25, I first did an apprenticeship and then studied. I didn't save much but lived my life. Now I work full time and thanks to a good salary I can earn around €1500 per month. save. I use this to save into an ETF savings plan. I'm just wondering, does it make sense to add additional money to the checking account in addition to my emergency fund (two months' salary).
