◇ Essential content
In its application, the AfD parliamentary group calls on the state government to ensure that Germany contradicts the changes to the International Health Regulations (IGV) of the World Health Organization (WHO), which were decided in June 2024. The AfD justifies this with the concern that the WHO could have too much influence on government decisions in health crises in the future. With the application, the AfD wants to prevent Brandenburg from having to implement WHO guidelines. The motion was rejected with 56 votes against. 28 MPs voted in favor, there were no abstentions.
